ONBOARDING

Onboarding an employee starts right at the moment you offer them the position. It has been said that onboarding is the most pivotal time period of an employee because it integrates them into the company and sets the tone for their tenure with you. Expectations must be set clearly between all parties as to what the responsibilities are as well as the cultural expectations.

You need to have their first 2 weeks clearly mapped out so they understand the company. Once you’ve done that, then it’s time for them to learn everything they need in order to be proficient in their role, in order to do this, you must lay out their 30, 60 and 90 day training plan, complete with required trainings and real-time applications to validate their understanding of the training.
